What do I need to bring with me?
- Warm and comfy clothes you can relax in throughout your stay
- All meals are included by our amazing inhouse private Chef - however if you’d like snacks for the in between please bring these along.
- Yoga or activewear / clothing you feel comfortable practicing yoga, trail walking and sitting in meditation in
- A pair of runners/gumboots (weather dependant) if you’d like to go for a walk
- Re-useable water bottle
- Sunscreen, hat, bathers, beanie, rain jacket, warm socks
- Book/Kindle
- Toiletries
- Medication
- Other getaway essentials (a book, phone charger)
How do I get to the retreat location?
Travel to and from the retreat location in Healesville is to be organised by guests.
You’ll be added to the Ignite Your Spark Whatsapp group closer to the date. This is where you can reach out to others and arrange your travel to and from plans.
All attendees of the retreats and workshops are added to our community Facebook page in addition to keep in touch and stay connected post retreat.
How much yoga should I expect? Do I need to attend all sessions?
We will have a yoga practice each day which are all completely optional to join.
The schedule for yoga and our workshop will look something like the following - the below will be dependant on the length of the specific retreat.
Additional classes may also be added such as sound bowl meditation and yin yoga during the evenings.
Friday afternoon:
- 75minutes Vinyasa Flow + 15minute meditation
Saturday morning:
- 75 minute Vinyasa Flow + 15min meditation
Sunday morning:
- 75min Vinyasa Flow + 15min meditation
Monday morning:
- 75 minute Vinyasa Flow + 15min meditation
**Please note that as with all my classes I include modifications so they are completely accessible to beginners & to those who practice more frequently.
What does our itinerary look like?
You’ll be sent a full schedule closer to the date, however here is an example:
Friday:
Arrival from 2pm, free time to settle in, opening ceremony, slow flow yoga, dinner, free time (hot tub, chats) bed
Saturday:
75min min vinyasa yoga + meditation, breakfast, 2 hour Art painting workshop, free-time to explore/rest , dinner, free time, bed
Sunday:
75min vinyasa yoga + meditation, breakfast, free-time to explore/rest, 90min embodiment and self-love workshop including meditation , free-time to explore/rest, dinner, meditation/yin, bed
Monday:
75min vinyasa yoga + meditation + closing ceremony, breakfast, check out and farewell hugs.
I’d like to have a drink can I BYO alcohol?
This is an alcohol free retreat.
Our retreat is focused on relieving anxiety and connecting to self. This means we won’t be serving alcohol throughout the weekend.
Instead of alcohol we’ll be providing delicious infused water, teas, coffee and yummy hot chai and cacao.
I have food allergies / special dietary requirements is this ok?
For sure! When you book with us we have a form you’re required to fill out with any requirements and allergies.
Please ensure you include all dietary requirements so we can prepare this well ahead.
